Topographic Surveys

Topographic Surveys are surveys showing contours on an assigned datum. The datum can be a local datum or it can be on NAVD 29 or NAVD 88. Topographic surveys are useful for seeing relief on the site. Topographic surveys are used by engineers to compute quantities. They can be used to delineate drainage patterns. We work with the client to gather the data to fit the client’s needs. Topographic surveys are used on construction sites also.With precision farming, topographic surveys can be used as a base map. Soil types can be overlaid or digitized into a map for the producer. This can assist the producer with his GPS equipment.
