Daniel V. Fischer opened Fischer Land Surveying in Langdon, North Dakota in July of 1995. Mr. Fischer began in the surveying profession in 1983. He worked under seven Registered Land Surveyors over the years on the way to acquiring his land surveying license. This molded Mr. Fischer in becoming a Registered Land Surveyor. Dan Fischer was elected as President of the North Dakota Society of Professional Land Surveyors in February of 2008, by his peers and also won the “Map Award” that same year. We have information in northeastern North Dakota dating back into the early 1950’s.

        Peggy Fischer

 

                    HR/Payroll

 

 

Peggy has been doing the book keeping records of the company since its inception.  Along with record keeping, her duties consist of HR, payroll and office manager duties. 

She and Dan moved to Langdon in 1985 and she began work for Farm Service Agency where she worked as a Program Technician with the Farm Loans department for over 27 years before retiring in July 2013 to work full time at the business.

 

Mathew Hedger
FE
Civil Engineer

 

 

Mathew joined Fischer Land Surveying & Engineering in 2016.  Mr. Hedger has a number of years of experience in Transportation Engineering and Civil Engineering construction projects including; pavement design, highway design, erosion control, embankments, materials testing, and using satellite survey equipment.  He also has experience with design software including Autodesk Civil 3D and Microstation.

      Mark G. Geffers
                 PLS

             Senior Surveyor

 

   

Mark Geffers has worked in surveying for over 30 years for a number of companies and county governments. He has experience in boundary surveys, construction surveys, right of way work, platting and lot surveys.  Mr. Geffers has experience working with a variety of equipment from transit and steel tape to:  theodolite, total station, robotic total station and currently GPS.   Mr. Geffers also has extensive experience with AutoCAD, currently using Autodesk Civil 3D.
